Ingredients
For the Bibimbap:
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 200g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 cup spinach, blanched and chopped
- 1 cup bean sprouts, blanched
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 zucchini, julienned
- 4 mushrooms, sliced
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Add the beef slices and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté the carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms separately until tender. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the marinated beef until browned and cooked through.
- Fry the eggs to your liking, with runny yolks preferred.
- Divide the cooked rice into two bowls.
- Arrange the spinach, bean sprouts, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, and beef on top of the rice.
- Place a fried egg on top of each bowl.
- Add a dollop of gochujang and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve the Bibimbap hot, mixing all the ingredients together before eating.
